Exploring the expansive swamp region of Eden-6 in Borderlands 3 presents plenty of challenges, but tracking down Crew Challenges remains one of the most rewarding endeavors. Among these tasks, finding every Typhon Log hidden throughout the muddy terrain of the Floodmoor Basin allows Vault Hunters to uncover backstory details from the galaxy's first Vault Hunter. Gathering all three logs in this zone triangulates the position of a locked Typhon Dead Drop full of valuable loot.
Mudhaven Settlement Typhon Log
The first audio log is situated in the enemy-infested town of Mudhaven, located north of the primary fast travel drop pod. Players will need to clear out local bandits occupying the wooden structures before attempting to reach the recording. Once the area is secure, climb onto a yellow shipping container on the right side of the settlement to jump onto the elevated wooden platform housing the pedestal.
Navigating this vertical layout can be tricky while under fire, so eliminating aggressive foes first makes the platforming much safer. Collecting this initial entry unlocks part of the coordinates needed to locate the regional cache.
Knotty Peak Overlook Typhon Log
To acquire the second audio journal, travel toward the mountainous central region near Knotty Peak. Fast travel to the local outpost and head down the sloped path until reaching the main dirt road below.
Along the edge of the path sits a scenic viewing platform overlooking the vast swamp expanse where the log terminal is positioned. Interacting with this device triggers another recording from Typhon DeLeon detailing his historical adventures across Eden-6.
The Anvil Pass Typhon Log
The final log terminal rests near the northern transition point that leads toward The Anvil region. Head past the residential structure near the pass entrance and follow the winding incline directly behind it.
Climb up the marked rock ledge featuring yellow paint splashes to reach a high cliff edge overlooking the nearby waterfalls. The audio pedestal stands near the precipice, offering a clear view of the surrounding riverways below.
Unlocking the Floodmoor Basin Typhon Dead Drop
After collecting all three audio logs, Tannis will decode the transmission signals to reveal the exact coordinates of the locked Dead Drop chest. Head toward the northeastern section of the basin, located near a large rock formation and a secluded wooden shack.
Checking behind the cabin reveals the hidden chest, which rewards players with rare gear, cash, experience points, and Eridium currency. Opening this container completes the zone challenge and boosts overall region progress on Eden-6.
